Principal's Message
Welcome to Churchill Elementary School!
I am grateful to be entering my second year as Churchill’s principal. Prior to joining the SD 308 family in 2024, I worked as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal.
This year, we are excited to celebrate 20 Years of Mustang Magic! In 2005, Churchill’s doors opened for the first time, marking the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in the SD 308 community. For two decades now, this school has been a place for students to grow, and we know that in the next two decades and beyond, it will continue to nurture and inspire.
My hope is that each of our students feel a deep sense of belonging at Churchill. I desire for them to know this is a place where they are valued, supported, and believed in. I want every student to feel safe taking risks, confident in their voice, and proud of who they are and who they are becoming. Most importantly, I hope each student leaves our school not only stronger academically, but also kinder, more curious, and more resilient, ready to take on the world with courage and compassion.
We bring our district’s mission to life every day by building strong relationships with our students and families, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Our staff collaborates to meet students where they are and guide them forward academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether through differentiated instruction, student-led discussions, or celebrating progress both big and small, we are committed to helping every Mustang succeed.
